Women Impact Virginia Regional Event at Reynolds Homestead

Mark your calendars for the "Stories and Strategies of Bold Action in Rural Spaces." Date: Wednesday, July 9, 2025. Time: 10 a.m. Location: Community Engagement Center. Event FREE and open to the public. The Reynolds Homestead will host the annual Women Impact Virginia regional event in partnership with the Patrick County Chamber of Commerce.

Join Reynold Homestead staff on Wednesday, July 9, 2025, at 10 a.m. at the Community Engagement Center at Reynolds Homestead for “Stories and Strategies of Bold Action in Rural Spaces,” the latest regional installment of the Women Impact Virginia series. 
We've structured the day a little differently this year! The morning begins with a short keynote presentation, followed by a facilitated panel featuring local voices who will share strategies, success stories, and innovation in rural leadership.

  • KEYNOTE Sarah Wray, co-founder and past president of One Family Productions
  • Janeise Harmon, Program Director of the Gypsy Hollingsworth Fiber Art Program
  • Shauna Hines, Director of Technology and Coordinator of Fine Arts for Martinsville City Public Schools
  • Chief Shelby Irving, Division Chief of Community Risk Reduction at Danville Fire Department
  • Karice Luck-Brimmer, cultural preservationist and historian
