Local residents of Ararat, Virginia have pulled together and worked long and hard for nearly two years to complete the "Dan River Park". The park is spread over 12 acres of land in the beautiful mountain town of Ararat, Virginia. Close by is the "Blue Ridge Parkway" which offers travelers a rich experience in leisurely travel and delicious home cooked food for miles in either direction.
