On August 11, 2007, the Meadows of Dan Merchants Association celebrated the 3rd Annual Folk Fair, in combination with the Virginia State Peach Festival Celebration.

The Patrick County Chamber of Commerce brought the street fair from the "peach celebration" to the Meadows of Dan Community Center and had over 30 vendors, including crafters, food vendors and businesses. This was considered the biggest celebration for Meadows of Dan. Weather was mild for typical hot August. Everyone seem to have a great time.
