Birthday Party for JEB Stuart at Granny's Attic in Stuart to be held February 8th

The JEB Stuart Birthplace Trust announces a JEB Stuart
birthday party on February 8, at Granny’s Attic antique mall in Stuart,
10:00am-2:00pm. There will be a live
WHEO radio remote and free birthday cake and lemonade. The Birthplace has a vendor spot in the store
with many Civil War books, prints, children’s books and toys, T-shirt, hats,
coffee mugs, and many more items to sale.
This event is free and open to the public. Granny’s Attic is located at 301 South Main Street , Stuart , VA.
General Stuart was born on February 6, 1833, at Laurel Hill,
Ararat , VA. He
died on May 12, 1864 after a mortal wound at the Battle of Yellow Tavern, near Richmond , VA. In 2014 we will give special attention to
this famous PatrickCounty native, 150 years
