Patrick County Chamber of Commerce announces 'A CHAMBER OF COMMERCE BLOCK PARTY'

The Patrick County Chamber of Commerce would like to invite the public to celebrate the grand opening of their new location at 103B Stonewall Court in Stuart, on Friday May 31 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm. In conjunction with the Open House and Ribbon Cutting the Chamber will be having a Block Party for the community.

The Patrick County Chamber of Commerce would like to invite the public to celebrate the grand opening of their new location at 103B Stonewall Court in Stuart, on Friday May 31 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm. In conjunction with the Open House and Ribbon Cutting the Chamber will be having a Block Party for the community. This admission-free, family-friendly event will feature something for everyone. The Chamber of Commerce has joined with area businesses and organizations including BB&T, On The Run, PepsiCo, The Reynolds Homestead and Walmart in order to make this event free to the public. Members of God’s Cooking Crew will be on hand serving hot dogs and drinks to the first 400 people, free of charge, so come hungry! Live music, sponsored by The Reynolds Homestead, will have everyone tapping their toes as they mix and mingle with the community. Arts on Main will be hosting a Battle of the Brushes Event. Artists will compete in a live painting event. Each Artist will be provided with a blank canvas, and 20 minutes to create their masterpiece. After the battle, paintings will be displayed and silent auction will be held. Funds raised will be donated to the Patrick County Partnership for the Arts. Also, Stanburn Winery will be on hand presenting a paid wine tasting. Sample some of Patrick County ’s best wines while celebrating with the Chamber of Commerce.
