HR Home Current Openings Application Contact Us Standards of Performance Mountain Valley Hospice Position: RN Case Manager Office Location: Stuart, VA Shift: Monday– Friday 8am – 5pm, On-call rotation is required. Qualifications: RN, 2 years Hospice/Home Health experience preferred extensive computer skills, flexible, current driver’s license, on-call availability, excellent communication skills. This is a Full time position. Positions: Information Systems Assistant Office Location: Mount Airy, NC Shift: Monday– Friday 8am – 5pm, Full-time permanent, some weekend & evening work. Qualifications: Holds at least an Associate’s Degree in computer science or equivalent amount of computer technical training and experience in information systems planning and management. Experience with and knowledge of PCs and PC software applications. At least three (3) years in computer network implementation. Ability to train staff in the use of PC software, specifically Microsoft Windows and Microsoft office. Strong organizational and interpersonal skills. Interest and enthusiasm for computerization and its potential for improving. Dependable transportation for travel to all office locations. Computer related certifications preferred. This is a Full Time position. Responsibilities: Adheres to the practice of confidentiality regarding patients, families, staff, and the organization. Performs other duties as requested by the Information Systems Director and Chief Financial Officer. System Maintenance and Security 1.Works an on-call schedule to ensure the overall success and potential of the management system. 2.Ensure that systems are in place to ensure and protect data integrity, reliability, and accuracy; systems security, data and systems backups and disaster recovery. 3.Develop and maintain accessible, appropriate, adequate and secure systems infrastructure, ie. Software applications, PC desktop applications, laptop and tablet applications, networks and bandwidth. 4.Assists in scheduling and coordinating system hardware and software updates to minimize downtime. Network, PC, and Support 1.Develop and maintain appropriate and adequate internal processes to manage all aspects of user support, data input, integration, reporting and distribution of information. 2.Develop and maintain an inventory of all monitors, keyboards, hard drives, modems, printers, scanners, and other peripheral equipment. 3.Monitor and identify opportunities to improve user service through regular analysis and investigation. 4.Documents, tracks, and follows-up on all reported problems, enhancement requests and system change requests for all applications. 5.Strive to meet all aspects of user expectations for availability, speed and simple, logical, uncomplicated user interface. 6.Performs the management and maintenance of the network system. 7.Generates passwords and user ID information, and sets up user access to network for all employees. Education 1.Sets up, conducts and/or assists with in-service training of appropriate hospice personnel in all system applications. 2.Provides educational opportunities in PC use, PC software, and other software and system enhancements as needed. Position: Social Worker Office Location: Yadkinville/Elkin, NC Shift: Monday– Friday 8am – 5pm, On-call rotation is required. Qualifications: Bachelors Degree in Social Work or related field, 2 years Hospice/Home Health experience preferred, extensive computer skills, flexible, current driver’s license, on-call availability, excellent communication skills. This is a PRN position Position: Hospice Aide Office Location: Pilot Mountain, NC Shift: Available Monday– Friday 8am – 5pm, Weekend rotation required. Qualifications: Certified Nursing Assistant I or II, 2 years Hospice/Home Health experience preferred, flexible, current driver’s license, excellent communication skills. This is a PRN position. Position: Hospice Aide Office Location: Stuart, VA Shift: Available Monday– Friday 8am – 5pm, Weekend rotation required. Qualifications: Certified Nursing Assistant I or II, 2 years Hospice/Home Health experience preferred, flexible, current driver’s license, excellent communication skills.
