William Stanley (R-Moneta)’s campaign in Southside Virginia in 2011 and on Gov. Bob McDonnell’s gubernatorial campaign in 2009. She also worked for first lady Maureen McDonnell. (She is not related to Stanley). “Alex is a perfect fit for the Opportunity Virginia PAC team, and we welcome her into her new role,’’ said Phil Cox, McDonnell’s senior political adviser. D.J.
