Dear Blue Ridge Parkway Area Business:
We would like to offer you an exciting opportunity to advertise your business! FRIENDS of the Blue Ridge Parkway is launching an exclusive "members only" eNewsletter that will be distributed monthly to over 9,000 members of our organization. Our goal with this new venture is to promote Parkway area businesses while adding even more value to the membership of FRIENDS of the Blue Ridge Parkway.
This eNews will be sent on the first of each month and will include a variety of FREE advertising opportunities for your business! That's right, advertising in the "members only" eNews will be free of charge until December 2011! After December 2011, you must become a business member of FRIENDS of the Blue Ridge Parkway in order to keep your promotion running.
Email us your coupons, discounts, promotions, sales, special events, or anything else you would like to advertise, no later than this Monday, August 1st. The first edition will be sent out on August 10th. Our hope is by partnering with your business we will bring you new customers while encouraging more people to join FRIENDS.

The Fall 2011 issue of High Vistas Journal will to go to print at the end of August. This photo-journal format magazine highlights the history, culture and landscape of the BRP as well as the ongoing programs of our organization. This advertising opportunity showcases the wide variety of business and attractions available to those traveling the Parkway, as well as raises additional funds for our programs.
High Vistas is a 20 page, 4-color, journal-format publication, printed twice annually.
It is distributed to the FRIENDS of the BRP membership of over 9,000, as well as volunteer chapters and local communities along the 469 mile parkway.
The average member and reader of High Vistas is an outdoors and nature enthusiast. They enjoy traveling and outdoor activities, as well as good food and drink,and have a higher-than-average amount of discretionary income.
The Fall/Winter issue is expected to be delivered by Labor Day Weekend, just before the most heavily traveled season along the BRP. High Vistas will allow Parkway travelers an advance glimpse of Parkway happenings right before the busy Fall season. This is the perfect opportunity to advertise your businesses events, sales, or Fall specials to your exact target market.
All current Friends of the Blue Ridge Parkway business members will receive a 15% discount on current High Vistas advertising rates.
