Buddy Dollarhite, Fire Chief for Town of Stuart, VA has just got some great news. They have found a 10 for 10 donor match for his bone marrow transplant!
Buddy was contacted earlier this week and that a perfect match (10 for 10) has been found for his bone marrow transplant, even down to the blood type, which is not necessary.
Stuart Fire Department Chief Buddy Dollarhite is facing a bone marrow transplant once to cure him of Leukemia, a disease he has been living with since 2007.
Volunteers with the local fire department recently sponsored a Bone Marrow Drive to help in finding a match for Buddy.
