EG Bradshaw, Jr., currently principal at Patrick County High has been named as principal at Eastern View High School in Culpeper, VA, effective July 1st.

A former principal of the year has been named as Eastern View High School's next principal.
E.G. Bradshaw Jr. will assume the top spot at the Culpeper school on July 1, succeeding Roger Mello, who announced earlier this year that he will be stepping down.
Bradshaw, 49, has been principal at Patrick County High School in Stuart since 1999 and in 2009 was named the Virginia Association of Secondary Schools' principal of the year.
Before becoming Patrick County's principal, Bradshaw served one year as assistant principal and 13 years as a teacher and coach.
Division Superintendent Bobbi Johnson said she is looking forward to working with Bradshaw.
"His experience as a high school principal will be a valuable asset as EVHS transitions to new leadership," she said.
Bradshaw, who is married and has two grown daughters, will earn $105,000 a year.
Mello, Eastern View's first principal, will reportedly teach English at Floyd T, Binns Middle School next year.
