Jobless Rates Fall in Patrick County for the month of February

Patrick County jobless rate drops to 10.0% for February, 2011 according to the Virginia Employment Commission.
Patrick County had 938 unemployed residents in February, compared with 1,052 looking for employment in January, according to the VEC.
Its total labor force was 9,352 in February, compared with 9,411 in January.
The VEC reported that the unemployment rate for the nation in February was 9.5%.
The rate for Virginia was 6.6%, for February down from January's 6.9%, according to the VEC.
