Patrick Co., VA - One person is dead after a head-on collision in Patrick County. State Police say just before 1:00 p.m., Saturday, two vehicles collided head-on, on US route 58 half mile east of route eight.
David Gabriel Couch, 19, was pronounced Dead at the scene. The driver, Caleb Hubbard was taken to Pioneer Hospital in Stuart. Both men are from Meadows of Dan.
The other car was operated by Paula Gates Morgan, 54, of Wytheville. She was flown to Winston-Salem hospital after her car crossed the dividing line and crashed head-on.
The cause of the accident is under investigation.
