National College, Martinsville Campus Achieves 100% Pass Rate
10 of 10 winter term medical assisting graduates achieve Registered Medical Assistant status
MARTINSVILLE, VA —All 10 winter term graduates of the medical assisting program at the Martinsville Campus of National College (www.national-college.edu) achieved a passing score on the national Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) exam administered by American Medical Technologists.
The following students graduated from the medical assisting degree program in Martinsville and passed the RMA exam in February:

Medical assistants are highly trained medical professionals who perform both clinical and administrative tasks in medical environments. National’s associate degree program in medical assisting is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) on recommendation of the Medical Assisting Education Review Board of the American Association of Medical Assistants' Endowment (AAMAE). Graduates of the program are eligible to sit for national certification exams in medical assisting; those who pass the RMA exam are entitled to use the professional designation RMA.
