Devone Claybrooks, NFL football player and defensive tackle with the Calgary Stampeders in the Canadian Football League stopped by the Patrick County Chamber of Commerce for a visit on February 17, 2011
This photo is of Tom Bishop, Executive Director of the Patrick County Chamber and Devone Claybrooks. Devone is from Martinsville, VA and is planning to open a new restuarant in Collinsville, VA.
He was born in Henry County, VA September 15, 1977, and played football at Bassett High School. He was oritinally signed by the Green Bay Packer and Played for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the 2002 Super Bowl.
He played college football at East Carolina and his statistics are, 6 ft. 3 in., and 300 lbs.
He has been an active player with Calgary since 2009. He has also played with the Cleveland Browns, San Francisco 49er and Dallas Cowboys.
He was sporting his 2002 Super Bowl ring and had just finished a radio program with Mr. Paul Farrar, "Cooking With Paul", on WHEO 1270 AM Radio with morning talk show host, Richard Rogers.
