Refreshments, door prizes and live music were offered for all to enjoy, which included a birthday cake honoring Maj. Gen. Stuart.

Maj. Gen. J. E. B. Stuart was born on February 5, 1833 at Laurel Hill, in Ararat, Virginia (Patrick County) and was a prominent Calvary Officer in the Army of Northern Virginia.
The County seat of Patrick County, Stuart, was named in his honor.
