Rep. Morgan Griffith, Ninth District Congressman Elect from Southwest Virginia has been named to serve on the House of Representatives Energy and Commerce Commitee

He will begin office in January, 2010. He beat out long term Congressman Rick Boucher in the November election. Rep. Griffith is from Salem, VA.
