Victorian Christmas-Evening of Chamber Music and Sing Along

The Reynolds Homestead offers a special evening of entertainment, Dec. 3 and 4, at 7:00pm. $15 adults, $10 students.

Hailed as ―two perfect virtuosos‖ at their international performance debut, Kevin and Bryan Matheson of the Classic Strings Duo are awakening audiences to music for the violin and viola. Joining them in concert are Tracy Cowden, associate professor of Piano at Virginia Tech, and Ariana Wyatt, soprano, a recent graduate of the Julliard Opera Center. This quartet will perform Victorian-era seasonal chamber music, including Christmas carols for a sing-along, and featuring works by Glinka, Donizetti, Vaughan Williams, Sibelius and Peter Schickele. A wonderfully traditional way to welcome the holiday season, come and enjoy these world-class performers and enjoy the dessert and coffee served during intermission. Reservations are recommended. $15 for adults and $10 for students.
