The new amphitheatre was dedicated to Dr. John R. Clark who donated the land for this new facility. Those on hand for the celebration included Town Council Members, Karl Weiss, Chairman of Patrick County Board of Supervisors, family members of Dr. John Clark, Contractors and State officials.
