The H. L. Hunley Civil War submarine replica will on display in Ararat, Va at Laurel Hill for the Civil War Reenactment and Living History on October 2-3, 2010.

The Hunley was the Civil War submarine that sunk the blockader USS Housatonic on Feb. 17, 1864. At least 32 crewman lost their lives during trial runs of the Huley. One of them was Horace L. Hunley, the builder. This was one the first true submarines. To see it come to Laurel Hill, on Ararat Highway, October 2 and 3, 2010.
