Sept. 22-The rides are great at the Patrick County Fair in Stuart, VA. It rained on this night, but then cleared up and a full moon came into view with Jupiter beside it. This ride is called "Super Shot".

Student night at the Fair. Good foods. Candied apples, rib-eye steak sandwich, elephant ears, and deep fried twinkie, with chocolate and conf. sugar on top.
Instrumental music on guitars. Doc Watson Style. Also, Junior Cassady's Plantation Band played late in the evening. My favorite. Great son, "Nine Pound Hammar".

Fair is put on by Stuart Rotary Club. A great organization. Lots of volunteers. The biggest event of the year is the County Fair, with Rodeo, Barrel Racing, Tractor Pull, Beauty Pageants, Demolition Derby, Carnival Rides, Agricultural Competition Exhibits, Business Exhibits, 8 different bands each evening, Sept. 21-25
