The well known local bluegrass band The Country Boys will perform at the Patrick County Music Association (PMCA) at their monthly, free Jamboree on Saturday, September 25th at their fall location, the Patrick Springs Pentecostal Holiness Church in the New Community Fellowship Hall in Patrick Springs. Doors open at 3:30 PM.
The Country Boys are legendary in Surrey, Grayson and Patrick counties with their bluegrass gospel music. They have played at fiddler’s conventions, festivals, churches, and private parties for over 35 years, mesmerizing their audience with the mixture of old time and modern bluegrass. You’ll want to stomp your feet with The Country Boys original music and unique style with Donald Clifton, upright bass, Johnny Joyce, guitar, Tim Bowman, banjo, J.A. Midkiff, fiddle, and Kevin Easter, mandolin.
Also performing at the PCMA is Zepher Lightening Bolt, Lone Ivy String Band, Hwy. South, Crossview, and The Nunn Brothers. Doors open at 3:30 PM music starts at 4:00 PM.
