The Patrick County Seniors group toured the Historic Mitchell's Mill Grist Mill on Mitchell's Mill Road, Claudville on Sept. 16. Mr. "Shorty" Mitchell demonstrated how the mill works using water power.

He also demonstrated how to make a pair of socks with water driven mill. He told the group about the man made cafe used to store moonshine whisky, and the babtizing water hole on Little Dan River. Photo by Tom Bishop
