Dr. Ralph Stanley Plays for Parkway Celebration-Sept. 11

Dr. Ralph Stanley and the Clinch Mountain Boys play for the Blue Ridge Parkway Celebration of the 75th birthday on Sept. 11, 2010 at the Blue Ridge Music Center, near Galax, VA
Weather became cool and misty all day during the 2nd day of the Parkway celebration.
Nevertheless, crowds were flocking in at 6:00pm, getting ready for Dr. Stanley's performance.
Parts of the Parkway were fogged over near the end of the day, but activities proceeded at MP213 at the Blue Ridge Music Center.
The Buck Mountain Band was entertaining the crowd as a preliminary band.
