Sept. 9-Patrick Springs Primary School, Patrick Springs, VA has been named a Blue Ribbon School, by the U. S. Departmen tof Education.

Patrick Springs is in Patrick County, VA. School Principal is Mrs. Andrea Cassell and the Superintending for Patrick County Public Schools is Dr. Roger N. Morris. The U. S. Secretary of Education Anne Duncan recognized 304 schools as National Blue Ribbon Schools. These schools will be recognized in an awards ceremeony November 15-16 in Washington, DC. The selection is on high performing schools.
