This is one of the many activities spearheaded by Patrick County Seniors, with Peggy Definbaugh leading the group. On the trip while on the mountain, the group stopped by Slate Mountain Presbyterian Church, Rocky Knob Cabins, Alpine Meadows, Villa Appalaccia winery and the Floydfest site. Tom Bishop, Exective Director of the Chamber of Commerce assisted with the tour. The Seniors are planning a trip to Atlanta in August to see the Atlanta Braves and tour the Aquarium.
