Missing Man Body Found In Rock Castle Gorge-Patrick County

A man from Ohio, was found dead in the Rock Castle Gorge area of Patrick County, VA. As reported by the Martisnville Bulletin on April 28.
"Remains were in rugged area in Patrick County
The body of an Ohio man last seen April 18 was discovered Tuesday afternoon in a rugged recreation area in Patrick County.
A search and rescue dog found the remains of Ernest Gay Brooker Jr., 66, around 5:45 p.m. in Rock Castle Gorge, said Patrick County Sheriff Dan Smith. Brooker’s body was found about 3 miles from where his vehicle was parked near the intersection of Willis and Rock Church roads in Meadows of Dan.
Smith said Brooker appeared to have died of self-inflicted injuries. The sheriff would not elaborate."
