Celebrate the talents of our elementary school choirs and area dance troops.
All day entertainment for kids of every age includes the antics of Mr. Pokeeto the Clown, face painting, sand art, a sidewalk chalk art contest (with prizes!), crafts, ring toss, and activities provided by the Virginia Museum of Natural History. New this year, and quite exciting, is the opportunity for kayak rides on the pond, as well as the return of the horse-drawn wagon rides around the grounds and small animals for petting.
For over two decades, the Reynolds Homestead has celebrated spring with the fair-like frolic that has become a memorable event for many individuals and families. The annual Quilt Exhibition is a favorite, along with the Civil War Living History Exhibit and display of artifacts from that era.
Come and see the Homestead Weavers Exchange and Homestead Quilters Exchange in action, talk with folks from an assortment of local organizations, dance the traditional Maypole Dance, shop and examine the wares of a variety of craft vendors, and enjoy the festive variety of foods for lunch.
Entrance fee is still only $1.00 per person, though kayak and carriage rides are $5 each.
