A new cell phone tower is now under construction on Widow Drive, ¼ mile south of U. S. Route 58 (JEB Stuart Highway), near the Floyd County and Patrick County line.

New Cell Phone Tower-Meadows of Dan, VA
A new cell phone tower is now under construction on Widow Drive, ¼ mile south of U. S. Route 58 (JEB Stuart Highway), near the Floyd County and Patrick County line.
This tower should serve Patrick, Carroll and Floyd counties well by being on top of the mountain, near the Blue Ridge Parkway, and will sit at 3154 ft. elevation.
It will be in view of U. S. Route 58, near the RotoMetrics Virginia factory. It should be of great benefit for travelers and local residents.
It will be a Verizon Wireless tower and will be 300 ft. high.
