Apparently a spill of 10,000 gal. of cattle manure occured from a holding lagoon in the Meadows of Dan area of Patrick Colunty on Apr. 13, 2009

It was reported that some of the spill entered into a small unamed tributary of Mayberry Creek. This was reported by Martinsville Media on April 17, 2009.
