Sen. Roscoe Reynolds will be guest on Job Quest on Blue Ridge PBS

April 14, 2009, Senator Roscoe Reynolds will be a special guest on the Blue Ridge PBS "Job Quest" program. This an employment advice and information program.

Save the date for April 14 “JobQuest� with Roscoe Reynolds (Roanoke, Va.)—Virginia State Senator Roscoe Reynolds will be a special guest on the next “JobQuest.� The popular employment advice and information program will air April 14 at 7 p.m. on Blue Ridge PBS. Reynolds will discuss the business climate in Virginia’s 20th District and share information about helpful resources available in the communities he serves, including Martinsville where unemployment was 20.2 percent for February 2009. That figure was the highest in the state for that month. Other “JobQuest� guests for the April episode include Roanoke Times President and Publisher Debbie Meade, Hollins University President Nancy Gray, Southwest Virginia Higher Education Center Executive Director Rachel Fowlkes, Virginia Economic Bridge President & CEO Carl Mitchell and National College Career Center Director Cathy Fortune. Sixty new job openings from across the region will be highlighted during the show. The program will also highlight the Virginia Education Wizard, www.vawizard.org.
