Strategic Planning Session at The Reynolds Homestead
March 25, 2009
CRITZ, VA (March 25, 2009)— The Reynolds Homestead Virginia Tech Continuing Education Center is in the process of developing a strategic plan. The plan will address two areas—the historic home and the history and story around it,
and the programming and direction for the commonwealth campus center.
To assist with this important activity, the continuing education staff is utilizing the expertise of a facilitator who will be conducting brain storming sessions with various groups, including the general public. “Input from our loyal supporters is important to us as we plan for an exciting future, states Kay Dunkley, Director. We appreciate the suggestions and perspectives from our community of friends as we determine the most positive way to share the legacy of the Reynolds family and to also give focus to new ideas for future programming.
Individuals are invited to attend an evening forum at 7:00 pm on March 26 in the main hall of the continuing education center. The facilitator will use a SWOT analysis to determine strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats to outline a ten year plan. Refreshments will be provided.
If interested in attending the strategic planning session, call Michele at 694-7181, extension 21.
