Pioneer Health Services takes over Patrick County Hospital

Mar. 1-Pioneer Health Services, a rural health care company with extensive experience in the Critical Access Hospital (CAH) industry took over operation of the Patrick County Hospital, in Stuart, VA on March 1.
The Company is owned by Joseph S. McNulty, III and is headquartered in Magee, Mississippi. It employs more than 700 people.
They accepted a 5-year lease agreement with R. J. Reynolds Patrick County Memorial Hospital.
Mr. McNulty said, "Our mission is to provide the best and most technologically advanced primary care services to local rural communities." "That's our mission as a company and the same holds true for our goals here in Stuart. The community deserves nothing less."
