Chamber Members Invited to help with Litter Pick Up Campaign

Patrick County Chamber membership are invited to help with the campaign to clean up our neighborhoods during the "Community Wide Litter Pick-Up" in Patrick County, Oct. 15-31.

Will you commit to help us in this campaign? Come to a community meeting at the P. H. Community College on Oct. 9 or Oct. 14 at 12:00noon-1:00pm You commitment would be to clean up the area where you live. Also, to sign on to this program to attend a couple of promotional meetings this month and to endorse the program, share with your neighborhood and friends, send out e-mails, make telephone calls. The Patrick County Chamber of Commerce, working with local businesses, civic clubs, churches, individuals and other organizations has launched a Community-Wide Litter Pick-Up for Patrick County, starting on October 15, 2008. The idea is to collect litter surrounding your business, organization and home or other designated locations. We encourage you to clean up the neighborhood, recognizing the month of October is when we have a large number of visitors in our County to participate in many fall festivals. This intended to be a self directed effort to truly MAKE A DIFFERENCE in the appearance of our community and encourage visitors to come back. We solicit you comments and your support during this time of the year, when our colors really shine.
