Tourism Advisory Council attends Abingdon Creative Economy Conf.

Charlotte Gardner, Chairperson for the Patrick County Tourism Advisory Council, Leslie Shelor, Sue Shelor, Lisa Martin, and Tom Bishop are attending the Conference in Abingdon, VA May 19-20
Guest speakers include Gov. Tim Kaine, Alisa Bailey of the VA Tourism Corporation, Congressman Rick Boucher, Woody Crenshaw of Round The Mountain.
Many examples of the new emerging Creative Economy in Southwest, VA are being described and include, Artisan Trails, Crooked Road Music Trail, Agri-Tourism Businesses, Music Events, Farm Markets include.
