Natinal College at the Martinsville Campus celebrated a re-opening and ribbon cutting on Tuesday, May 13, 2008
Tours were given to all the attendees. Refreshments were served to all.
National College’s new location inside the former Graves Supply building on North Memorial Boulevard in Martinsville will give the school room to grow.
A grand opening for the new building was held Tuesday.
Approximately 16,000 square feet on the building’s ground floor was renovated for the college, but there is room both upstairs and downstairs to expand if needed in the future, said Director of Admissions Barbara Rakes.
The college spent more than $2.3 million to buy the property and renovate and equip the building. It has nine lecture classrooms, three computer classrooms with 54 work stations, a medical laboratory and an information systems engineering laboratory with 12 computer work stations.
Also, there is a library, student lounge, faculty work space, bookstore and administrative offices in the complex.
