Boucher Awards Grant for Jack's Creek Covered Bridge-Woolwine

Congressman Rick Boucher announced the awarding of federal funds in the amount of $220,000 for renovate the Woolwine Covered Bridge called Jack's Creek on April 22, 2008
The Bridge is 94 years old. the money will restore and protect the bridge, including a new roof, security features and fireproofing.
Total cost of renovations is $284,167.
Virginia Tobacco Indemnification and Community Revitalization Commission provided $37,320.
