Mr. Eric Monday, Attorney for the County of Patrick, resigned at the Board of Supervisors meeting at approximately 11:00pm on March 31, 2008.
Mr. Monday presented his letter of resignation and the Board of Supervisors accepted it unanimously. This was reported to be a volunteer resignation.
Mr. Monday is also the Attorney for the City of Martinsville, VA.
The Board wished him well in his future endeavors."
