A special election will be held on Tuesday, April 21, 2026, for all Virginia localities. A question regarding proposed constitutional amendment will appear on the ballot. See Public Notice attached for details.

Early In-Person Voting available on Friday, March 6th through Saturday, April 18th, 2026, M-F, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Also, open Saturday April 11th and Saturday April 18, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.  Ballot Drop Boxes available Monday, April 20, 2026, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and April 21, 2026, from 6:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.  The Patrick County Office of Elections located at 106 Rucker Street, Room 216C, Stuart, VA will be open for dates above.  Drop boxes will also be available at all regular polling places Election Day.
