The 2014 Christmas Cheer program is up and running. Applications have been distributed throughout the Patrick County school system, Piedmont Community Services, Social Services, Family Preservation, Blue Ridge Counseling and area Head Start/Early Head Start facilities. Families participating in the Christmas Cheer program need to return their completed application to one of those agencies by Friday, October 31, 2014.

The 2014 Christmas Cheer program is available to children residing in Patrick County who are one year old through ten years old by December 31st. Children ages 11 and 12 years old will receive a stuffed stocking with age appropriate items. We ask that if your family participates in a similar program, to please be considerate of others in need in our area and not ask for duplicate services. Your thoughtfulness in this matter is greatly appreciated.
