Saturday morning was great morning to run the Stop, Drop and Run 5K in Stuart. Fifty-seven runners and walkers took to the streets of Uptown Stuart for the Stuart Fire Department building fundraiser event.
Participants ranged from age seven to seventy-two. Overall winner was Mark Joyce in a time of 20:04. Overall make masters was Randy Burrier in a time of 22:33. On the female side, Natalie Horne was first in 25:18. Overall masters in the womens division was Laura Smith in 30:38. Thanks everyone who participated and all the sponsors. Special thank you goes to Cub Scout Troop 1126 who assisted at the water station on the course.
