Spencer-Penn Centre is excited to offer the nationally acclaimed Dignity Memorial® Escape School® for children ages 8 to 12 on July 8 at 2:30 pm! Presented free of charge by local Dignity Memorial funeral service providers, the program teaches critical abduction prevention and life-saving tactics on how to survive in dangerous situations. Dignity Memorial Escape School, featured on The Today Show, The Oprah Winfrey Show, America’s Most Wanted and Good Morning America, helps to dispel fear by teaching proactive strategies in a fun, non-threatening manner. Parents are encouraged to attend this beneficial program with their kids to reinforce the knowledge that leads to smart choices.

The program discusses topics such as: how to be smart, not scared; how all the rules change in a dangerous situation; how to differentiate between “good” and “bad” strangers; and how to demand help.
