The Homestead to host a 'Bowl-a-thon' in an effort to fight hunger in Patrick County

Empty Bowl Project's "Bowl-a-thon"
The Reynolds Homestead will host a Bowl-a-thon from 10 am until 2 pm Friday, Jan 10 and 17.
The event, which will be held at the Homestead is in preparation of an Empty Bowl event that will be held Saturday, March 1, at the Stuart Rotary Building . The Empty Bowl event will be co-sponsored by the Homestead and the Patrick County Food Bank.
The Empty Bowl project is an international effort to fight hunger by enlisting their efforts of community potters and craftspeople to create handmade bowls. The bowls will be donated to the Empty Bowl Event where they will be available for purchase along with a soup luncheon provided by local restaurants. All Proceeds from this event will go to the Patrick County Food Bank.
