A Murder Mystery 'A Fundraiser Brings "Hollywood" to Reynolds Homestead' with a Dinner and Silent Auction

463 Homestead Lane  - Critz  - 276-694-7181  - www.reyoldshomestead.vt.edu

A Murder Mystery Dinner and Silent Auction will be held at Reynolds Homestead on May 30th at 6 p.m. The Friends of the Reynolds Homestead organization is sponsoring the event, which will raise funds for the Reynolds Homestead building fund. A limited number of $20 tickets will be sold for this event.
Following the first “murder” guests will proceed to a “killer” dinner, where they will learn more clues about the mystery as the “Hollywood” entourage offers possible motives for the “murder.” During the dinner a second “murder” occurs and guests must consider all of the clues to determine who has committed these crimes.
After dinner, guests will have an opportunity to make their predictions about the guilty party, as everyone reconvenes at the Silent Auction to enjoy a variety of “death by chocolate” desserts and make their final bids on the array of auction items.
To reserve your place at this “criminally” exciting event, stop by or call the Reynolds Homestead at 276-694-7181. Act soon, people will by “dying” to attend this event.
Additional silent auction items are being sought for this important fundraiser. Anyone interested in donating items should contact David Pleasants by email: davidpleasants@aol.com or by phone: 336-508-1662, or items may be dropped off at the Reynolds Homestead.
The Reynolds Homestead building fund will be used to assist with current projects, and for a future addition to the Community Enrichment Center which will include a larger multi-purpose room, a theater, a commercial kitchen where culinary classes can be taught, an art studio, an art gallery, and a café and retail space where local art and products will be sold.
