The 6th Annual Kid's Fishing Day on Mayo River Rail Trail is tentatively planned for Saturday, April 11, 2026. Come out for a morning of making priceless memories and fishing fun in the Town of Stuart, Virginia! The Mayo River will be stocked with trout and ready for you to catch dinner! Don't forget to bring your own casting reel, fishing tackle, bait and lawn chairs! * Prizes awarded for the longest and shortest trout * Trophies, Cash prizes, and Door Prizes * Adults are permitted to fish after 1 PM with valid fishing license & trout stamp
