Working Class Acting - The Fundamentals of the Craft. Led by Peter Holland. $10 per class or $80 for the series. Open to adults and youth ages 10 and up. Mondays beginning January 12, 2026, from 7 to 8 p.m. Star Theatre, 318 Patrick Avenue, Stuart, VA. This eight-week series is led by professional actor and director Peter Holland and is open to adults and youth ages ten and up. The course is designed to teach stage basics, develop fundamental skills, and promote confidence and creative expression. Participants in Working Class Acting will explore essential elements of stagecraft and performance, including character development, scene work, voice and movement fundamentals, and collaborative ensemble practices. Classes are structured to support both beginning actors and those with some experience looking to strengthen their technique in a supportive, community setting. Students will present a free to the public final recital on Monday, March 9 to showcase the work developed during the session. Classes are $10 each or $80 for the series.
