Beginning Weaving in January 2026: Celie Cassady is hosting a beginner weaving class January 6, 7, 13, and 14 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Reynolds Homestead. This class will be a study of the ancient art of rag rug weaving with a contemporary, up to date look. Not just plain rugs - color, weave, and texture will be addressed. $200 fee for this class includes all materials except five yards of brightly colored cotton fabric. Students should also bring scissors, a tape measure, masking tape, and tapestry needle.
