If you have taken the Learn to Use the Laser Cutter class and you are looking to learn more intermediate laser cutting techniques, then this is the class for you! Students will use design software like Adobe Illustrator and Inkscape to learn advanced design techniques, explore various intermediate techniques on the laser as well as safe use of equipment with a wider range of materials. Upon completion of the class, students will be more confident in their ability to use the laser cutter to cut, etch, and engrave an array of customized intricate designs. Pre-requisite: Students should already have a basic knowledge of laser cutter software, some materials, and safety and operations of the laser cutter. Cost: $104.
