Linda Lawrence Dalton has been elected to the Virginia Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, serving a term running from 2008-2011. She represents Lawrence Distributing Company.

Linda Lawrence Dalton, Secretary/Treasurer of Lawrence Distributing Company in Danville, Virginia, was recently elected as a member of the Virginia Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors. Her term runs from January 2008 to January of 2011. She joins a 50-member Board that has business representation from all regions of Virginia. Dalton received a B.A. in English from Averett College in 1987. After a teaching career, she joined the family business in 2000. Dalton’s major area of responsibility at Lawrence Distributing Company is public relations and political advocacy for her company, the beverage industry, and business interests in general. In addition to her responsibilities at LDC, she serves in several organizational roles. She is Chair of the Legislative Affairs Committee of the Danville Pittsylvania County Chamber of Commerce, Board Member and current Vice President of the Danville Area Association for the Arts & Humanities, Board Member of the Danville Air Show, Inc., Member of the Virginia Beer Wholesalers Association, and Member / PAC Chair of the Virginia Wine Wholesalers Association. She is also a member of the Chambers of Commerce of Martinsville/Henry County, Halifax County, and Patrick County. Dalton and her husband Barry reside in Danville with their son Will and daughter Amanda.
