Wendy's Old Fashioned Hamburgers are coming to Stuart, Virginia in Patrick County. A ground breaking ceremony was held on January 16, 2008

Shown here in the picture are the following individuals participating in the ceremony. Charles R. Sechrist, President, Sechrist Food Systems, Inc. of Collinsville, VA (new owner and operator) Jonathan Large, Chairman of the Patrick County Board of Supervisors Tom Bishop, Executive Director, Patrick County Chamber of Commerce James McHone, Mayor, Town of Stuart Terry Tilley, Town Manager, Town of Stuart Tom Rose, Economic Development Director, Patrick County Excavation work began several days ago. The site is on U. S. Route 58, East of Stuart, at the Wal-Mart site. Expected completion is in the range of March-April, 2008. Completion will depend on the weather conditions as we approach the Spring. Construction will be using Poly Steel Insulating Concrete Forms which will be a great energy saver.
