Dan River Park Association has received a national honor accompanied by a grant from the Kodak American Greenways Awards Program. The grant amounted to $1500.

The grant will help pave a walking/bike trail currently being constructed at Dan River Park in Ararat, VA. Further, the park will be showcased as a national model for its innovative efforts to develop a greenway in Patrick County.
